Searching the NZBio Website
Click the "Search" link on the main menu, enter your keyword to search the NZBio site and news articles.
My contact details have changed. How do I keep my profile current?
- Enter login and password information (you must be logged in to complete the following instructions).
- Select the ‘Member Menu’ drop down box.
- Select ‘My Details’.
- Under ‘Contact details’, update your contact information.
- Click ’Update my Contact Details’ to save these changes.
Our company details have changed. How do I keep the company profile current?
Note: You must be a Nominated Contact in order to complete the following.
1. Log-in to the NZBio site and select “My company details” from the members’ drop-down menu.
2. Update your company details where necessary.
3. Review the nominated and company contacts in the scroll box at the bottom of the page and you may want to:
a) Remove nominated status from some and add the status to other records.
b) Delete some records of people who have left your company.
c) Add new company contacts with your membership (staff of your company).
You can add new company contacts to your membership one of two ways, either:
1.) Click the “Sign up a member” button to add the staff details. The details of the membership will be automatically emailed to the new contact once the information is complete and you press “accept”.
2.) Copy the corporate sign-up invitation URL into an email to your staff. Each staff member can click through to the URL and enter their own details if they wish to have the benefits of being an NZBio member. Again the details of the membership will be emailed once it is complete.
How do we list our company profile in the Membership Directory?
- Enter login and password information (you must be logged in to complete the following instructions).
- Select the ‘Member Menu’ drop down box.
- Select ‘My Company Details’.
- Type or paste your company profile into the ‘Profile’ field.
- You may also choose to up upload your company logo (jpeg format) by selecting ‘browse’.
- Click ‘Update Company Contact details’ to update and save these changes.
What events are in the mix?
The NZBio web site offers dedicated calendars in order to clearly show you what is going on in your region, within special interest groups, events planned throughout the country and international events.
How do I register for an event?
When you select an event from the calendar, your contact details are automatically populated into the registration form. All you need to do is select your membership status, payment method and click ‘Complete Registration’ to confirm your attendance.
Regional Events
- Select your regions dedicated web site (second tool bar)
- Choose the ‘Calendar’ link for a list of upcoming events near you!
National and International Events
For a list of all events, select the main calendar from the top tool bar. Events run by NZBio are highlighted in green; you can request to have your event posted on the NZBio calendar by sending an email to Colleen McTague
Special Interest Group Events
- Select the NZBio/Agbio or NZBio/Medical Devices dedicated web site (Green tabs on 3rd menu bar)
- Choose the ‘Calendar’ link for a list of upcoming events near you!
How can I use the web site to find member information?
- Enter login and password information (you must be logged in to complete the following instructions).
- From the member menu select the ‘Membership Directory’.
- Click on the company of interest for more information.
How can I find the latest news articles and other information?
- Find latest Press Releases under the ‘Press’ tab.
- Search past NZBio news articles by selecting the member menu drop down tab and select ‘News’.
- Find industry reports under ‘Biotech in NZ’ tab.
- Find International funding information by selecting ‘Member Menu’ followed by the ‘International Research Funds’ link.
- Search reports by selecting the menu drop down tab and select ‘reports’.
- Find articles written by the NZBio CEO, ‘Bio views’.
Searching for new products and technologies
- Select the ‘Biobusiness’ tab from the toolbar.
- Select the ‘Products and Technologies Available’ tab.
Advertising your products and technologies
- Select the ‘BioBusiness tab’ under the 'Biotech in NZ" menu item.
- Click ‘Add your Company’.
- Select the ‘Request Type’ drop down box and choose buying or selling.
- Fill in the required fields.
- Click ‘Submit application’.
- Your application will then be reviewed by an NZBio Staff member and you will be contacted once this advertisement has been posted.
Looking for an employment opportunity?
- Enter login and password information (you must be logged in to complete the following instructions).
- From the member menu, select ‘Employment Opportunities’ for a list of roles on offer.
Looking to employ or list your availability?
- Enter login and password information (you must be logged in to complete the following instructions).
- From the member menu, select ‘Employment Opportunities’
- Select the ‘Add your details’ tab’.
- Fill in the required fields. Select ‘Submit Listing’.
- Your application will then be reviewed by an NZBio Staff member and you will be contacted once this advertisement has been posted.
